Which sources does Albuquerque Senior Advisor cite?
Only primary sources: the New Mexico Administrative Code (chiefly 8.370.14 NMAC and the Medicaid eligibility rules), the New Mexico Health Care Authority, the Aging and Long-Term Services Department, the City of Albuquerque Department of Senior Affairs, CMS, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and CareScout's published 2025 Cost of Care tables.
If a number that circulates online cannot be traced back to one of these, the page says the figure is not available instead of repeating it.
Why is there no Albuquerque price or memory-care median on the site?
CareScout's published 2025 tables report New Mexico statewide medians, and CareScout does not survey memory care as its own category; no primary source we can cite publishes an Albuquerque-only assisted living median, so we print the state figures and say plainly that local quotes are needed.
How does Albuquerque Senior Advisor treat ratings?
The only ratings on the site are CMS's Five-Star ratings for nursing homes, reproduced as CMS publishes them and labelled as CMS's; New Mexico rates no assisted living facility, and we never invent a score of our own.
Why is the assisted living list marked partial?
At this build the Health Care Authority's provider search was offline and its assisted living directory could be read only page by page, so the list holds the facilities we could confirm from HCA's own listing pages; every page that uses it says so, and the list will be completed from the state's records when they are available.
We would rather publish a clearly labelled partial list from the state's records than fill gaps from aggregator sites.
How do you report a mistake on Albuquerque Senior Advisor?
Email advisors@albuquerquesenioradvisor.com with the page and the problem; an editor checks it against the primary source and fixes the page, and data pages are rebuilt each time the HCA and CMS records are pulled again.
How current is the facility information?
Each page shows its data date. The current HCA data is dated November 1, 2026 and the CMS data October 1, 2026; licenses and ratings change between pulls, so confirm a facility's live record before signing anything.
Can a partner community change what Albuquerque Senior Advisor publishes?
No. Partners pay placement fees, but they cannot edit facility records, CMS ratings or guide text, and non-partners appear in the directory with exactly the same columns.
